Ms. Bitner obtained both her Bachelor of Commerce degree and her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan, graduating in 1989. After her articling year, she was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1990. She practiced as an associate for three years at the prestigious law firm of Milner & Steer in Edmonton, Alberta. In 1993 she established the firm known as Bitner Law Office.
She practices in the areas of corporate-commercial, real estate and entertainment law, as well as wills and estates.
Ms. Bitner is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, and the Canadian-German Business and Professional Association.
